Lover's knot scarf is a fun crochet project and not your ordinary scarf! It's a scarf with additional amigurumi and tassels that young and young in hearts will love . Happy Hooking!
Materials:
Yarns: #4 | medium worsted weight yarn I used Red Heart Super Saver
  • Black for scarf & tassels
  • Red for heart amigurumi
Crochet Hooks: 
  • For Scarf; Size 6.00 mm / US J
  • For Heart Amigurumi; 4.00 mm / US G
Polyester Filling
Yarn Needle
Scissors


Abbreviations:
SC -Single Crochet
SC2TOG -Single Crochet Two Together (decrease)
HDC -Half Double Crochet
DC -Double Crochet
DC2TOG -Double Crochet Two Together (decrease)
FPDC -Front Post Double Crochet
BFDC -Back Post Double Crochet


Notes:
Chain 2 is always count as HDC throughout the pattern.
Chain 3 is always count as DC throughout the pattern.


Scarf:
Leave long tail.


Row 1: Start with magic ring, Chain 3 in the ring, 2 DC in the ring, turn. (3 DC)


Row 2: Chain 3, DC in the same stitch, DC in the next stitch, 2 DC in the last stitch, turn. (5 DC)


Row 3: Chain 3, DC in the same stitch, *2 DC in the next stitch* repeat 4 times, turn. (10 DC)


Row 4: Chain 3, DC in the same stitch, DC in the next stitch, *2 DC in the next stitch, DC in the next stitch* repeat 4 times, turn. (15 DC)


Row 5: Chain 2, *FPDC in the next stitch, BPDC in the next stitch* repeat 6 times,FPDC in the next, HDC in the last stitch, turn.


Row 6: Chain 2, *BPDC in the next BPDC, FPDC in the next FPDC* repeat across, HDC in the last stitch, turn.


Next Rows: Repeat row 5 and 6 instructions until you reached your desired length.


Decreasing Rows

Row 1: Chain 2, DC in the next stitch (first decrease) *DC in the next stitch, DC2TOG the next stitches* repeat 4 times, DC in the last stitch, turn. ( 10 DC)


Row 2: Chain 2, DC in the next stitch (first decrease) *DC2TOG* repeat 4 times, turn. ( 5 DC)


Row 3: Chain 2, DC in the next stitch (first decrease) *DC2TOG* repeat 2 times, fasten off. Leave long tail. (3 DC)


Heart Plushies (Make Two)
Work in continuous rounds. Start with magic ring.


Round 1: 6 sc in the ring. (6 sc)
Round 2: sc in each stitches around . (6 sc)
Round 3: 2 sc in each stitches around. (12 sc)
Round 4: sc in each stitches around. (12 sc)
Round 5: *2 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next stitch* repeat 6 times. (18 sc
Round 6: sc in each stitches around. (18 sc)
Round 7: *2 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 2 stitches* repeat 6 times. (24 sc)
Round 8: sc in each stitches around. (24 sc)
Round 9: *2 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 3 stitches* repeat 6 times. (30 sc)
Round 10: sc in each stitches around. (30 sc)
Round 11: *2 sc in the next stitch, sc in the next 4 stitches* repeat 6 times. (36 sc)
Round 12-15: sc in each stitches around. (36 sc)
DO NOT cut the yarn, continue working on:
First Lobe:
Note: We will work only halfway and in continuous round.

Round 16: Chain 1, sc in the same stitch and the next 18 stitches. (18 sc)
Round 17: Skip 18 stitches, work in continuous round, sc in the next 18 stitches (18 sc)
Round 18: *SC2TOG in the next stitches, sc in the next stitch* repeat 6 times. (12 sc)
Round 19: SC2TOG 6 times, slip stitch in the next stitch, fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole in the top of the lobe. (6 sc)
Second Lobe:
Note: Before working on second lobe, starts to stuff with polyester filling your amigurumi heart. Attach the yarn on unworked stitches leaving a long tail for closing the middle part of the heart.


Round 20: work on free stitches, chain 1 and sc in the stitch and to the next 17 stitches. (18 sc)
Round 21: sc in each stitches. (18 sc)
Round 22: *SC2TOG in the next stitches, sc in the next stitch* repeat 6 times. (12 sc)
Round 23: SC2TOG 6 times, slip stitch in the next stitch, fasten off and leave a long tail for closing the hole in the top of the lobe. DO NOT close the middle part of the heart, refer how to assemble below.
Tassels
Cut 100 pieces of 12 inches strands, refer how to assemble below.


How to assemble:

Attached the scarf to hearts.




Sew the middle part of the hearts and catching the scarf too.



Divide the tassels into two parts. Using the tail from the scarf tie the strands, thread back the tail again through the heart and sew the tail to the scarf to secure. Using extra piece of yarn, wrap the strands
