Materials:
- 2 skeins of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable; Stained Glass.
- Crochet Hook: 5.50 mm [US-I].
- Yarn Needle
Gauge: 14 DC & 7 Rows = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm) square.
Wrap measures 14" wide x 60" long.
Stitch Abbreviations: US Terms
- CH(s) - chain(s)
- SK - skip the next stitches
- SC - single crochet
- DC - double crochet
- TRC- triple crochet
Note:
The wrap is worked from the center foundation in 2 sections.
Stitch Multiples = 5 + 2.
Instructions:
Starts by making 52 chains. This is the width of the scarf.
Row 1: SC in the 2nd chain from the hook and across, turn.
Row 2: CH 3 (count as the 1st DC) DC - CH 2 - SK 2 *DC in the next 3 stitches - CH 2 - SK 2* repeat from * to * across and end with 2 DC, turn.
Row 3: CH 1 and SC in the same stitch - SK the next stitch, * 5 DC in CH-2 space - SK the next stitch - SC in the next stitch - SK the next stitch * repeat from * to * across and end with SC in the top of the last stitch, turn.
Row 4: CH 5 - SK the next stitch, *DC in the next 3 stitches - CH 2 - SK the next 3 stitches* repeat from * to * across and end with CH 1 and TRC in the top of the last stitch, turn.
Row 5: CH 3 - 2 DC in chain space *SK the next stitch - SC in the next stitch - SK the next stitch - 5 DC in chain CH-2 space * repeat from * to * across and end with 3 DC in chain space, turn.
Row 6: CH 3 - DC in the next stitch *CH 2 - SK the next 3 stitches - DC in the next 3 stitches* repeat from * to * across and end with DC in the last 2 stitches, turn.
Next Rows: Repeat from row 3 to row 6 for longer length.
Edging: Repeat row 3.
Second Section:
With right side facing, join the yarn at the foundation chains. Follow the instructions from Row 2 to Row 6 until getting your preferred length. Work on Edging. Fasten off and weave the ends.

I'm confused about second section. What exactly is it? Is it a seam that makes the scarf longer? If it is, why do it that way?
I think it's so the pattern runs the same way, that so one side isn't upside down.
I just finished a similar patter and the second section is the beginning and you just start he pattern in the oposite direction. Hope this helps!
